Re: Hello Death Toll Team !

Hello, Deckard, thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, we don't have our scans for this series any more. When that project was done, many years ago, this team had a completely different membership, which means those scans were stored in computers of people who are no longer around. Sorry we can't...

Re: Rain, chapter 99 (JP-EN TRANSLATORS INVITED!)

Well… long story. Initially, we worked on this in volumes, so we ignored magazine raws. Then the author died, and we thought the series wouldn't continue for long, but then we found out the magazine releases were still coming out. But when we realised that, it was impossible to get some of the chapt...

Enjoy the chapter!

Re: Typrsetting Test

Alright, our Head Typesetter's verdict: hm the centering is consistently low bubbles 2, 4, 6 are undersized and 4 is misshaped all newbie mistakes give him this, refer to text bubbles under typesetting https://www.insidescanlation.com/etc/the-idiots-guide-to-editing-manga/guide/main and he should be...

Re: Typrsetting Test

Our Head Typesetter has some lingering uncertainty about your skill, so he asked me to link you this little extra to do:

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... t_Word.rar

You don't need to go back to the original application, just do this one. Thanks.

Re: Typrsetting Test

Sorry for the very late reply.

Our Head TSer is busy during the week, but I hope to have your verdict this weekend. There was improvement in your TS from what I could see.

Re: Typrsetting Test

Alright, I have your reply. Your centering is okay. Your font choice isn't entirely consistent, but when you get to typesetting an actual chapter, you'll have detailed font lists, so it's not a big deal. Sizing is also proper. Your main problem is shaping: For example, here the "not" shoul...

Re: Typrsetting Test

This one's worth of sending to the Head Typesetter for a careful assessment, so this time the reply won't be immediate due to time zone differences and real life engagements. I'll get back to you with his verdict as soon as I can.

Re: Typrsetting Test

Hi, Humanity's Threat, thanks for the interest. I took a look at your application and will comment on it below, but unfortunately, you need Photoshop to typeset for us. (Well, or Indesign, but hardly anyone uses that in scanlation.) No prejudice, it’s just that other programs rasterise text layers w...
